The primary beers that we brew are Scottish and Scotch ales which range in alcohol content from 3.5% all the way up to around 9%. These beers are typically characterized by flavors of sweet malt, roasted barley, a relatively low level of hops, and a slight smokiness. The Scottish Ale yeast contributes heavily to this style and gives this beer a very unique nose and flavor. Our ingredients for this particular beer (grain, yeast, and hops) are all imported from the UK to make the beer as authentic as possible. The picture below is the first beer that we ever brewed... a nitro Scottish ale.
And then sometimes you just need a light summer beer... our ice cold Hefe. It's fermented at a slightly higher temperature to throw some lingering fruit and banana flavors. Great on a hot day.
